We know it may seem early but, have you started thinking about Christmas yet? We definitely have, and we're here to tell you why you should too...

  1. Once Pre-owned is Gone... it's Gone!
If you've seen something on our website that you think would make the perfect gift for someone, and it's pre-owned, we'd advise you to take action sooner rather than later. The majority of our pre-owned items are one-off pieces so once they are sold, they're gone. We may get something back in similar but nothing is ever guaranteed.
  2. Returns
If you purchase something and then you're not sure if its the right item, you have 30 days to return it to us for an exchange. So the earlier you think about your Christmas gifts the more time you have to definitely get it right. You don't want to be last minute and then worry about not having a gift to give on Christmas day.
  3. Finance
If you're looking to purchase a luxury item and you want to spread the cost, the sooner you look at getting the item, the sooner you can start making payments. Here at William May we offer interest free finance over 6 or 12 months. We also have repayment periods of up to 48 months, it is whatever suits you. It helps make those bigger purchases more affordable.
  4. Personalization & Alterations
If you're looking at getting something personalised, like maybe having a necklace engraved, it is better to think about this sooner rather than later. Our workshop will be getting a lot busier the closer we get to Christmas so, if you are looking at getting some bespoke work done on a piece of jewellery, we would advise enquiring about this by the beginning of November. Similarly, if you want to get a ring resized, we would ask you to get in contact with us as soon as you can so you can have your purchase back with you just in time for it to be wrapped for Christmas.
  5. Enjoy the Season!
The build up to Christmas is one of the most exciting times of the year and to make the most of it, it makes sense to start your Christmas shopping early, so you can put your feet up, wrap up warm with a hot chocolate and not worry about rushing around on Christmas Eve to find the perfect present.
