After much anticipation, it has been announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged to be married after 16 months of dating. They are set to be married in spring next year. Obviously, the most important question is…what is the ring like?

Markle’s engagement ring is set in yellow gold, which is her favourite, with something old and something new. The central stone, a cushion cut diamond, is sourced from Botswana which is somewhere that Harry has travelled to many times and it is also where the couple have spent time together during their relationship.
The remaining two diamonds come from the personal collection of Harry’s mother, the late Diana, Princess of Wales. Harry designed the ring himself by collaborating with Cleave and Company, the official jewellers to Her Majesty the Queen, and has said he wanted to make sure his mother is with them on their crazy journey.
